My attempt to participate in capitalism
I am looking for people to invest in my last year of graduate school. I have a lot pieces I want to complete before my thesis show in April 2027. Finding enough time to spend on them is dependent on how much time I have to spend making money to pay my living expenses and to buy the necessary supplies.
My work doesn't have wide appeal and those who do like my work may be hesitant to purchased a piece to display in the work or home.
I don't make a piece because it will sell. I make it because it is the piece I need to make.
This option is as an attempt to engage with capitalism in a way that allows me to make the work I need to make for my thesis.
The deal.
To be able to focus more fully on my thesis I need an additional $15,000 to pay my bills and buy art supplies.
Those who want to invest in my work have 3 options:

-Provide an unsecured personal loan (6% interest paid back over 5 years beginning August 2027) email: kristinalacain@gmail.com
Benefits
$50 or more- be among the first to have the option to purchased my thesis work after I graduate (Listed in order that the contributions are received)
$1000 or more- The $50 benefit, plus receive 1% of the profits from selling the work displayed in my thesis show for every $1000 contributed.
I do not guarantee the work will sell but I will repay the loan either way.
